Oleksandr Pyshchur, new forward of Girona FC

The 21-year-old Ukrainian forward, standing 2.04m tall, comes from the Hungarian club ETO FC and signs for five seasons, until June 2031.

Girona FC has reached an agreement for the signing of Oleksandr Pyshchur (Chernihiv, Ukraine, January 24, 2005), who becomes the new red-and-white player. The center forward, 21 years old and 2.04 meters tall, has signed a contract for five seasons, until June 30, 2031.

Pyshchur arrives at Montilivi from ETO FC, a team in Hungary's First Division, which he joined in July 2025. Before that, the new Girona forward had played for three Hungarian clubs: Kisvárda, Puskás Akadémia, and Gyirmót, establishing himself as an offensive reference in the attack.

An international player in Ukraine's youth categories, Pyshchur has been one of the revelations of the U-20 World Cup held in Chile, where he caught attention for being one of the tallest players in the tournament and for his offensive impact. In his first match of the competition, against South Korea, he scored with a powerful header. In Girona, he will share the team with Vladyslav Krapyvtsov, with whom he plays in Ukraine's U-21 national team.

Initially trained at Desna Chernihiv in his home country, Pyshchur continued his development at the MFA Munkach academy, where he made his professional debut and began to stand out as a center forward. He is a striker with great stature, strong in aerial play, capable of holding off central defenders, and creating advantages in the opponent's penalty area.
