Six Girona FC footballers have been called up by their respective national teams to take part in international commitments during this September and October break.
Vlad Vanat will be part of Ukraine's senior national team, which will play four UEFA Nations League matches: Hungary-Ukraine (September 25), Georgia-Ukraine (September 28), Ukraine-Northern Ireland (October 2), and Ukraine-Hungary (October 5).
Also with Ukraine, but in the Under-21 category, Vladyslav Krapyvtsov and Oleksandr Pyshchur have been called up. The two players will face two matches in the qualification phase for the Under-21 European Championship: Ukraine-Turkey (September 26) and Ukraine-Croatia (October 2).
Yáser Asprilla has been called up to Colombia's senior national team to play three friendly matches. The Colombian team will face Mexico (September 26), Paraguay (October 2), and Peru (October 6), all in the United States.
Meanwhile, Holmes Junior has been called up by the Spanish Under-18 national team to participate in the UEFA Friendship Cup, held in Nyon (Switzerland) from September 24 to October 3. Spain, placed in Group B, will play the initial phase against Ivory Coast (September 24), Brazil (September 27), and Canada (September 30). The tournament will conclude on October 3 with the final classification matches.
Finally, Lass Kourouma has been called up by the senior national team of Guinea to play the first two matches of the qualification phase for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations: South Africa-Guinea (September 26) and Guinea-Kenya (October 1).
