Carles Pérez (Granollers, 16 February 1998) is a winger who has joined Girona FC as a free agent from Celta de Vigo, signing a one-season contract with the Club.
He came through the youth academies of RCD Espanyol and FC Barcelona, completing his development at the Catalan club before making his first-team debut. He made his LaLiga debut in the 2018/19 season and earned a more prominent role the following campaign, also featuring in the UEFA Champions League.
In January 2020, he began his spell in Italian football with AS Roma, initially on loan before joining the club permanently. During his time in Rome, he gained experience in Serie A and European competitions and was part of the team that won the UEFA Conference League in the 2021/22 season.
In 2022, he returned to LaLiga with Celta de Vigo, where he has spent much of his recent career. He has also played on loan for Getafe and Greek side Aris Thessaloniki.
A Spain youth international, Carles Pérez brings extensive top-level experience, having competed in LaLiga, Serie A, the Champions League and the Europa League, among other competitions.
