Antal will play on loan at CD Tenerife until the end of the season

The Girona FC has reached an agreement with CD Tenerife for Antal Yaakobishvili to finish the season on loan with the Canary team, with the aim of gaining more playing time and continuing his sports development.

To make this new loan possible, Girona FC and FC Andorra have previously agreed to cancel the player's current loan to the Principality's club.

The Hungarian international joined Girona FC in 2021, coming from Atlètic Sant Just, and has shown constant progress within the club's structure. After training with Juvenil A, he moved up to Girona B and later to the first team.

His debut with the first team took place on January 17, 2024, under the guidance of Míchel Sánchez, in a Copa del Rey match against Rayo Vallecano. That same month, Antal made his debut in the First Division in the match against Sevilla FC, and he also participated in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals against RCD Mallorca, held in Palma.

After renewing his contract until June 2028, during the 2024/25 season, the player continued gaining experience with Girona B and made appearances with the first team in two official competitions: in the Copa del Rey against UD Logroñés and in the Champions League match against Arsenal.

Antal has played just over 240 minutes between the League and the Cup with FC Andorra. Now, he begins a new chapter with CD Tenerife, where he will seek continuity and prominence until the end of the season.
