Arsenal FC will be the opponent of Girona FC in the 49th edition of the Costa Brava Trophy – 150th Anniversary of Estrella Damm, which will take place on Saturday, August 1st, at 8 PM at the Montilivi Stadium. It will be a high-level clash against one of the most powerful teams in European football: the current Premier League champion and UEFA Champions League runner-up. This edition of the Costa Brava Trophy commemorates the 150th anniversary of Estrella Damm. 

The London team, led by Mikel Arteta, arrives as one of the great dominators of current European football, after conquering the Premier League and achieving a remarkable performance in the UEFA Champions League, where they secured the runner-up position. The English team combines talent, experience, and a globally recognized style of play, making them a highly challenging opponent for Girona FC.

This match will also have a special component for Girona fans, as it will serve as the official presentation of the first team to the fans at Montilivi at the start of the new season.
