Girona closed in 2022 with a draw against Rayo Vallecano

Girona returns to the Santander League, adding an important point to Rayo Vallecano. Visitors have advanced up to twice, but the white-and-red-reds have been able to match the duel thanks to the goals of Castellanos and Samu Saiz.
The party has not been able to start in a worse way for the white-and-red interests. Camello has taken advantage of a defensive failure to advance Rayo to the first minute of play. In added time, Stuani made the third, but was overruled by the referee by David Lopez.
