Ramon Terrats, transferred to Villarreal

The Castellón-based club has exercised the purchase option included in the transfer contract

Ramon Terrats has left Girona FC after Villarreal CF exercised the option to buy the player that was included in his loan contract. The 22-year-old Barcelona native arrived at Montilivi in November 2020 from Sant Andreu. After a spell in the reserve team, he soon joined the first team, making his debut in the second division at La Romareda against Real Zaragoza. The midfielder formed the double pivot with Gumbau. Since then, he has played in 56 games as a Red and Whites' player, including the promotion play-offs, in which he was one of the protagonists. This season he made his debut in the First Division, making 8 appearances in the first half of the championship with Girona. In January he went out on loan to the Castellón club.
