The Girona FC Foundation Trophy, a success in participation and inclusion at Montilivi

The Montilivi Stadium hosted the Girona FC Foundation Trophy today, a sporting and inclusive event that was a success both in terms of organization and participation, highlighting the power of sport as a tool for integration, overcoming challenges, and building community.

The tournament featured the participation of football players with intellectual disabilities from the Girona FC Foundation, the Barça Foundation, and the Club Atletisme Garrotxa UEO, who enjoyed a unique experience in a professional and symbolic environment.

In terms of sports, the Girona FC Foundation team claimed the final victory of the Trophy after winning both matches played against the Barça Foundation and the Club Atletisme Garrotxa UEO. Beyond the results, the day was marked by a great atmosphere, mutual respect among teams, and the enthusiasm of the participants.
