Girona FC and Birmingham City FC have reached an agreement for the loan of midfielder Jhon Solís until the end of the 2025-26 season. The agreement includes a mandatory purchase option based on objectives.
Solís, 21 years old and born in Guacarí (Colombia), joined our club in the summer of 2023 from Atlético Nacional of Colombia, where he stood out as an emerging talent in youth categories and the first team. At Birmingham City FC, a historic team with a tradition in English football, Solís will join two former Girona players, Paik Seung-ho and Patrick Roberts.
Since his arrival at Montilivi, Jhon Solís has played 61 official matches with Girona's first team, including 49 in LaLiga, 7 in the Copa del Rey, and 5 in European competition, scoring 1 goal, his first and only for the club during the 2024-25 season against Deportivo Alavés.
During his time at Girona, Solís has demonstrated hard work, versatility in midfield, and a competitive attitude.
