Girona FC has reached an agreement with Celta de Vigo for the transfer of Fran Beltrán, who signs a 4-and-a-half-year contract until June 2030.
Fran Beltrán Peinado was born on February 3, 1999, in Madrid. Trained in the youth ranks of Rayo Vallecano, he made his debut with the Madrid first team at just seventeen years old, quickly establishing himself as one of the great promises of Spanish football in the central midfield position.
His performance at Rayo Vallecano led him to make the leap to Celta de Vigo in the summer of 2018, a club with which he has gained extensive experience in La Liga. At Balaídos, Beltrán has been characterized by his consistency, work ethic, ball control, and tactical intelligence, playing both as a defensive pivot and in more advanced midfield roles.
With this signing, Girona FC strengthens its midfield with a young but experienced player at the elite level, who will bring balance, intensity, and knowledge of the competition.
