Girona and Parlem Telecom join forces to promote the Club's digitization

The operator extends its relationship until the 2024-2025 season with the aim of being a key partner in the entity's digital transformation process. The Parlem logo is located on the back of the pants.

Parlem Telecom has extended its link as technological partner of Girona FC until the 2024-2025 season with the aim of being a key partner in the club's digital transformation process. The agreement, which increases the number of telecommunications services provided by the Catalan operator to the Club, includes connectivity to the press area and the mobile unit, as well as the implementation of a Wi-Fi service for Girona fans in the ring of the Montilivi stadium. Likewise, Parlem Telecom will continue to offer fiber and Wi-Fi services in the rest of the field and in the entity's offices, as well as mobile telephony for all its workers. The link between the operator and the Club began in November 2020, when Parlem became a technology partner.

One of the objectives of this new contract, which was signed a few days before the start of the season for Girona's return to the First Division, is to make the sports entity a benchmark in digital innovation. In recent years, Girona FC has deepened its digitization with various measures, such as the optimization of all relationship processes with fans, partners and subscribers through a mobile application.

The new agreement also makes the Catalan telecommunications operator one of the main sponsors of the Club. In this way, the Parlem Telecom logo will be included for the next three seasons on the back of the kit shorts that the men's first team players will wear in official matches and on their training kit. The sponsorship also provides for the presence of Parlem Telecom's image in the Montilivi Stadium, in the La Vinya training center, in the press room or on the entity's digital channels, among other spaces.

The consolidation of the collaboration between the operator and the Club reaffirms the shared commitment of Parlem Telecom and Girona to values such as proximity, Catalan identity and technological excellence. In this sense, the sports entity aspires to continue reinforcing its roots in Catalonia and, very particularly, in the Girona counties through its commercial and strategic agreements. For its part, Parlem Telecom will continue to promote Catalan sport through sponsorships, such as the one established with the OK Liga, the first roller hockey division.

The boost to the digitization of the Girona club contemplated in the agreement will be assumed by Parlem Telecom's Parlem Empreses business line, which has set itself the goal of progressive digital transformation of small and medium-sized Catalan companies, as well as sports and cultural entities in the country . In order to offer even more complete digitization services, the telecommunications operator acquired the Girona company Infoself Group a few months ago.
