Girona FC, with the LaLiga campaign to support Syrian children in Jordan

The Club provided kits for the teams who will participate in the competition organized in the refugee camps

Girona FC has participated in the LaLiga project to support Syrian boys and girls living in refugee camps in Jordan. The Club has provided kits for the teams that will participate in the competition that will begin this December and will have a total of 32 teams, 16 men's teams (under 12) and 16 women's teams (under 14 and under 17), with more than 350 boys and girls and young people participating. The initiative is part of the LaLiga | Za'atari Social Project, a socio-sports project that aims to improve the quality of life of refugee boys and girls and young people, using football as a tool for transmitting the positive values ​​of sport and empowering refugees to improve their well-being psychological, resilience, as well as social cohesion.

Within the framework of this project, it has also been possible to materialize the delivery of more than 27,000 toys, through the campaign "A Toy, an Illusion", promoted by RTVE in collaboration with the Fundación Crecer Jugando.
