Girona outperforms Valencia thanks to a target from Borja Garcia

The white-reds add up to three gold points in the match where they left the goal at zero for the first time in the season

Girona has won a very important victory over Valencia in Montilivi. A lone goal by Borja Garcia at the equator of the second half has been enough to add a vital triumph in the fight for permanence.

The start of the match has been animated. Taty and Aleix Garcia have been close to the goal, but neither has found goal. Minutes later, the goalkeepers appeared. First Gazzaniga to avoid Musah's goal in a Valencian counter-coup, and later Mamardashvili at Borja's kick. After half an hour of play, Cavani has crossed his shot too far, and Borja and Alexios Garcia have not been right either on a clear double local occasion. In the last act 1 move, Taty had 1–0, but his headstroke went off.

The second part has started without any great approximations. It wasn't until the 64th minute, when Riquelme focused perfectly from the right and Borja finished at the bottom of the net to do the first. Minutes later, Tsygankov made his debut with Girona's shirt. Shortly before a final stretch of madness. Stuani has had the goal twice, but Mamardashvili has been huge. Yangel Herrera has also been able to sentence the match, but his finish has been over the goal of Valencia. In the 90th minute, Gazzaniga has safely stopped a bit of Voro's to close the goal for the first time in the season.

Three vital points for a Girona that already adds twenty-four and will close the day five above the drop zone. Next week, white-and-red people visit Cádiz, Friday at 9 p.m.
