Girona signs Bryan Gil and adds talent to their attack.

The winger signs for five seasons, until 2029-2030.

Girona FC has officially announced the signing of Bryan Gil, who arrives from Tottenham Hotspur and has signed for five seasons.

Bryan Gil was born in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat 23 years ago, although he grew up in Barbate, in the province of Cadiz. He trained at Sevilla FC, where he made his debut in the First Division and played his first European matches at the age of just 18. His progress led him to gain experience at different clubs: he was loaned to Leganés and later to Eibar, where he began to stand out more regularly. In 2021, Tottenham took a chance on him and paid Sevilla for his transfer, although he did not find the desired continuity in England, which led him to a series of loans to Valencia and Sevilla before arriving at Girona for the 2024-2025 season.

At international level, Bryan has played for Spain at all youth levels, winning the Under-19 European Championship in 2019 and a silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics. He also made his debut for the senior team in March 2021.

Speed and unpredictability

During his loan spell at Girona last season, Bryan Gil played an important role, bringing speed and unpredictability to the attack. Unfortunately, he suffered an injury at the end of March that kept him off the pitch for the rest of the season. Throughout this period, Bryan showed glimpses of his talent and was warmly welcomed by the fans at Montilivi.

In terms of his technical characteristics, Bryan Gil is a fast left winger with a great ability to unbalance opponents. He stands out for his electric dribbling, his courage in taking on opponents and his ability to beat them in one-on-one situations. His attacking style allows him to play on both wings, bringing depth and unpredictability to the attack. In addition, he has a good shot, which makes him a constant source of dangerous crosses from the byline.
