The winger has signed a contract extension with Girona FC for two more seasons
Iker Almena, 19, has renewed his contract with Girona FC for two more seasons, until June 2026. The winger from Hospitalet has extended his contract with the Club, which began a season ago when he arrived at Montilivi from CF Can Vidalet, with whom he played in Primera Catalana. He had previously played with EF Gavà and in the youth teams of UE Cornellà.
The player, electric, associative, and very vertical, alternated in his first season with Juvenil A and Girona B, in his final phase of the season. This summer he took part in the first team pre-season, scoring two goals (against Olot and Napoli, in a penalty shoot-out) and adding an assist.
