Marathonbet ‘Shoot the O’: Girona FC Players vs Staff
Portu and Aleix García recently took on the Marathonbet ‘Shoot the O’ challenge against the Girona FC management team, under the watchful eye of assistant manager Onésimo.
The latest Marathonbet ‘Shoot the O’ challenge was held at La Viña training centre at PGA Catalunya Resort. In an epic battle of wills, Girona FC players pitted their wits against Girona FC technical staff in a challenge to determine their shooting accuracy. Players Cristian Portugués 'Portu' and Aleix García took on two of Girona FC’s key technical staff, head coach Eusebio Sacristan and coach Emilio Gutiérrez. As if that wasn’t enough, Eusebio and Emilio were cheered on by assistant coach Onésimo Sánchez to pile the pressure on the players.
Each team had six shots to decide the final winner of the challenge. The objective: to successfully shoot the most balls into the famous Marathonbet ‘O’ inflatable. All those taking part could freestyle as they wished, whether that was with the left foot, the right, pure power or even a "rabona".
