The draw does not satisfy Girona B (0-0)

Girona B and UD Barbastro drew without goals (0-0) in a very evenly matched game played this Sunday at the Vidreres field, as part of matchday 11 of the Segunda RFEF (Group 3).

The match, where Quique Álvarez's team dominated for most of the time, was affected from the 62nd minute by Lass's expulsion for a second yellow card. Despite this, the Girona team had the clearest chances until the final minutes.

The draw allows the red-and-whites to maintain their unbeaten record at Vidreres and keep Sergi Puig's goal unbreached for another week.

After the match, Quique Álvarez stated:

“We would have liked to win, the expulsion affected us a lot.”

“We lacked more precision in the final meters.”

“I don't like the draw, but after playing half an hour with 10 men, it's not a bad result.”

“It's been 4 games without a win, we need to try to change the dynamic.”

“We need more precision up front and to be more decisive.”

Girona B will visit SD Ibiza next week on Sunday at 12:00h.
